The Hasselblad H3DII-39MS Multi-Shot DSLR forms a key part of the ’s fourth pro-grade digital camera system. Following closely from the single-shot 21, 31 or 39 megapixel H3DII designs, the new Multi-Shot DSLR brings to fashion and portrait photographers the same moiré-free, 39 currently used by still life and .

The move to the Hasselblad H3DII body marks a dramatic change for the brand. It’s the first camera from the legendary that has no provision for film use at all. Those who still use film are not left out of the loop. Hasselblad is also announcing the H2F, a simplified, 645-film-only version of the H2 camera it replaces.

By removing the high-end digital imaging technology found in the H2 and H3DII, which is unnecessary for shooting with the film-only H2F, and therefore simplifying the manufacturing process, the is able to offer the Hasselblad H2F at a substantially lower price than the H2. The H2F offers full compatibility with H System HV viewfinders, film magazines, and HC lenses.
