Sunair Services Corporation Acquires Longboat Key Pest Control

Sunair Services Corporation today announced that it has acquired the assets of Longboat Key Pest Control. Headquartered in Longboat Key, FL., the company will be integrated into the Sunair’s wholly owned subsidiary Middleton Lawn & Pest Control.

Longboat Key Pest Control has provided environmentally friendly fertilization, lawn and shrub care and pest control services to Sarasota and Manatee County area businesses and homeowners since 1993.

The Sarasota region is considered a new market at Middleton. The Longboat Key acquisition is strategic in our efforts to further build our presence and position in this new market, as we continue to expand our reach throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties,” said Greg Clendenin, chief executive officer of Middleton Lawn & Pest Control.

Sunair Services Corporation, a Florida corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Middleton Pest Control, Inc., with headquarters located in Orlando, Florida, provides pest control and lawn care services to both residential and commercial customers. Middleton provides essential pest control services and protection against termites and insects to homes and businesses. In addition, Middleton supplies lawn care services to homes and businesses, which includes fertilization treatments and protection against disease, weeds and insects for lawns and shrubs. Through a subsidiary, Sunair also is involved in the telephone communications business.
