Personal items turned in at town hall
posted by admin in Home DepotPhotos, personal papers and other items scattered far away by the tornadoes in Kenosha County being collected at Wheatland’s Town Hall.
Kenosha County Sheriff’s Sergeant Gil Benn says people are finding personal checks and papers many miles away.
Town clerk Sheila Siegler says anyone who thinks they found something of personal value can bring the items to Town Hall where they can be claimed by tornado victims.
More belongings will likely be found Saturday when a volunteer work crew will meet at Town Hall to scour the area for personal belongings.

Home Depot dropped off several boxes of work gloves and rakes at Town Hall yesterday. A plastics manufacturer in Pleasant Prairie, Iris USA, is donating plastic bins.
