Home Depot recalls holiday figurines
posted by admin in Home DepotThe U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a voluntary recall Thursday on holiday figurines sold by Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Inc., citing excessive levels of lead paint. The voluntary recall covers about 64,000 units of the product, made by Creative Design of Hong Kong. The commission said surface paint on the figurines contains lead.
The commission said consumers should immediately stop using the figurines and return them to any Home Depot store for a full refund.
The figurines of painted plastic snowmen and bears were sold for between $10 and $20 at Home Depot stores in October and November.
