Window cleaning partnership
posted by admin in home cleaning serviceWindow cleaning specialist Pureglaze Cleaning Systems has established a partnership with cleaning and maintenance specialist Hydracare, of Bahrain, to supply water-fed pole systems (WFPSs) to countries in the Middle East.
Hydracare, which is owned by the HydraGroup, in Bahrain, specialises in the cleaning and maintenance of residential, commercial and industrial projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain and in other Gulf countries. Pureglaze is the WFPS technology partner to Hydracare.
Hydracare represents the Pure-glaze brand in the countries making up the Gulf region, including Bah-rain, Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman.
WFPSs are used for cleaning windows, signage and cladding at heights of up to 20 m.
Industry trends in Europe show that the use of traditional window-cleaning methods is declining rapidly as safety regulations are forcing the switch to WFPS technology, comments Pureglaze general manager Sid Beckton.
The WFPS technology has a number of advantages. It allows the operator to work from the ground without using ladders, and so removes the risk of working at height completely, which makes it safer.
It is also environment-friendly as WFPS technology uses only pure water. There are no detergents or chemicals to pollute the environment.
With WFPS technology, pure water (water without any mineral content) is pumped through a hose reel, up a telescopic water fed pole, and through jets in the brush at the top of the pole, where it is sprayed onto the glass.
The brush makes contact with the surface of the glass and the frames, and lightly agitates the surface, loosening the dirt. Any dirt or dust particles are flushed away by the constant stream of pure water.
