3 sought in Surprise home invasion
posted by admin in home cleaning serviceSurprise police are searching for three people who reportedly broke into a home early Saturday morning and held a man at gunpoint while they stole items from the residence.
The victim said he was awoken by three intruders inside his home in the 15900 block of Mountain Vista Ranch Boulevard about 2:30 a.m., said Surprise Lt. Penny Riherd. Police said the homeowner was taken by gunpoint into another room and placed faced down on the floor.
Sgt. Mark Ortega said an Xbox video game console was stolen along with other items, but he was unsure what they were.
The intruders entered through an unlocked sliding glass door, police said.
Police provided the following descriptions of the assailants: a man dressed in all black with a ski mask carrying a silver handgun; a woman about 5-foot-5 with straight black hair, stocky build, dark skin and wearing jean shorts; and a tall woman with long blonde hair and a pointy noise.
The Surprise Police Department advised all residents to make sure their doors and windows are secure.
